Since graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science – Clinical Myotherapy (2004), Luke has had invaluable experiences working at the Australian Ballet, Eccenture Triathlon Series, and various private clinics around Melbourne.  Luke has continued to further his education by graduating with a Master of Physiotherapy from Flinders University.  During his studies he has gained experience in the public hospital system, stroke rehabilitation, musculoskeletal physiotherapy and the management of acute cardio-respiratory system.  In addition Luke was a primary researcher in the development and evaluation of a falls program specific to fallers with Multiple Sclerosis.

Julius Principe

Diploma of Remedial Therapies
Julius has studied at Endeavour College of Natural Health to obtain a Bachelor of Health Science in Musculoskeletal Therapy with a diploma of Remedial Therapies after his second year.

During his treatments he uses a very hands-on approach to his soft tissue therapies such as myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, joint mobilisation, and remedial massage, while also very competent with dry needling and cupping.

Julius loves working in the Myotherapy field and enjoys putting in the effort to get a positive feedback from his clients. Julius has a clinical mind and has an holistic approach when treating clients, determining the cause and predisposing factors to come up with the best treatment plan to help fix the problem and prevent further pain.

Bachelor Exercise Science
Graduate Diploma of Applied Exercise Science (Exercise Prescription)
Completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2008. Completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Exercise Science (Exercise Prescription) in 2010. Worked as an Exercise Physiologist providing exercise rehabilitation for the neurological injured population including Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Spinal Cord Injury and Inclusion Body Myositis. Developed skills managing clients, discharge planning and providing physical therapy within an acute hospital setting in the United Kingdom, with experience working on acute, short and long stay medical wards, surgery, orthopaedics and plastics. Completed a Master of Physiotherapy at Flinders University in 2014, alongside completing research as a key member of a team assessing the feasibility of an exercise and education intervention on fallers with MS to be presented at the World Confederation for Physical Therapy Conference in Singapore 2015. Simon’s passions include assisting people in achieving their goals, with particular areas of interest in neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal therapy and pain sciences.

Rebecca MayBachelor of Health Science

Diploma of Remedial Massage

Bec is an experienced therapist with over 10 years in the industry and has completed a Bachelor of Health Science and Diploma of Remedial Massage. She is currently studying for the Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy.

 

Bec’s passion and expertise is focused on providing treatment and ongoing management to support athletes of all abilities and has worked with all levels of fitness throughout her career. She has previously worked with cyclists and triathletes ranging from beginners to those racing competitively and currently works with a successful football club treating players on both their AFL and VFL lists.
