Shinya is a passionate Myotherapist who has been practicing in clinical settings such as sport medicine clinic and sports medicine clinic where he has treated numbers of athletes.  He utilises techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, PNF stretching, muscle energy technique, and dry needling to reduce pain and discomfort and increase functionality of musculoskeletal systems.   

Having worked as a Registered Nurse and a care worker in New York and Japan, Shinya has contributed to provide care and treatments for wide range of personals from small children to elderlies. He also loves traveling, spent some precious time as a volunteer nurse in an orphanage in Malaysia and Guatemala. 

Those unique experiences inspired and opened his mind to view and tune into individual needs with non-judgemental manner. Shinya believes that his treatment plans develop from listening carefully to clients’ history and story and his motivations root from being the best assistant to maximise individual health status. 

Shinya has an active life style, playing sports and training regularly for dance performances. He also loves cooking sushi and playing a guitar to entertain his friends for comfortable weekends.


Julius has studied at Endeavour College of Natural Health to obtain a Bachelor of Health Science in Musculoskeletal Therapy with a diploma of Remedial Therapies after his second year.

During his treatments he uses a very hands-on approach to his soft tissue therapies such as myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, joint mobilisation, and remedial massage, while also very competent with dry needling and cupping. 

Julius loves working in the Myotherapy field and enjoys putting in the effort to get a positive feedback from his clients. Julius has a clinical mind and has an holistic approach when treating clients, determining the cause and predisposing factors to come up with the best treatment plan to help fix the problem and prevent further pain.

Remedial Massage Therapy

From working hands-on with athletes or with people in pain, Akiko began to realise how important an understanding of movement patterns was to successfully getting to the root cause of musculoskeletal issues and increasing performance and reduce pain. Akiko is a 2010 Graduate of the Massage School of Queensland.  

She has spent her entire career practicing sports, medical and deep tissue massage. Her work is intense, site specific and thorough.

Akiko strongly believes in preventing the loss of mobility by developing fitness and wellness-oriented regimes to encourage healthier and more active lifestyles. 

A firm advocate of total body wellness and conditioning, Akiko seeks to help patients achieve their health goals each day. 

She is also proficient in shiatsu, trigger point, pregnancy and lymphatic drainage


After working as a 10 years Myotherapist in Richmond, Luke has gained invaluable experience working with people of all walks including elite athletes, office workers, ballet dancers and gym goers. However in 2013 Luke returned to study to complete a Master of Physiotherapy at Flinders University.  This experience exposed Luke to invaluable experience in the acute clinical setting of Metropolitan and Rural hospitals in South Australia.

As part of the course work, Luke completed primary research in falls prevention for people with Multiple Sclerosis.  This research abstract has subsequently been accepted to be presented at the World Physical Therapy Conference 2015 in Singapore.

Luke is currently continuing his education by undertaking the Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Latrobe University.  He divides his time between Richmond Rehab, developing injury prevention strategies for local sports teams & maintaining a heavy professional development schedule as part of his Graduate Diploma.

Jesse is an experienced Physiotherapist who has a wide range of skills in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Graduating with a Master of Physiotherapy from Flinders University (2014), Jesse has developed extensive experience from private practice and working in the NHS Public Health Service in South West London.

As part of his private practice experience, Jesse has had the opportunity to provide both his Exercise Science and Physiotherapy skills while working for as the club physio for St Jons Old Collegians Football Club. This experience has given Jesse a unique insight in to the acute management & rehabilitation of sporting injuries.

Jesse uses his previous Myotherapy, Exercise Science & Physiotherapy training to provide his patients with an outstanding integrated approach which is rare to find in one practitioner.
