NDIS Service Agreements

Working with NDIS funding, Richmond Rehab acknowledges the potential for difficulties when working with vulnerable populations. The NDIS recommends the use of service agreements as part of a best practice approach to care. These agreements create a transparent framework for the expectations of both the provider and participant. These agreements can be modified to improve the effectiveness of service deliveries as needed.

What If You Don't Want To Complete An Agreement?

We understand that some patients might feel that a service agreement is not necessary in their case. As part of the NDIS' recommendations however, Richmond Rehab feels it is important to use agreements to protect both the participant and service provider. Richmond Rehab is happy to recommend an alternative service that might suit your needs but reserves the right to decline services to particpants who don't wish to complete a service agreement.

NDIS Service Logs

As part of our high standard of care, we follow the recommendation of the NDIS in maintaining service logs. This involves your provider logging every therapy session delivered and collecting a signature from the particpant or trusted friend at each session. These logs are securely saved in the client's file. These logs are collected to ensure all billed sessions are supported by documentation which is available upon request by the NDIS.
